All secretly, I did not want my sisters or anyone else to notice ;-) Would have been uncool, I thought. So no posters or stuff. Interestingly, my first real life big big crush (for 4 years, without trying anything) looked very similar.

First of all, for me, per definition, “celebrity crush” means a person I find to be very attractive and I can’t stop watching because I find them very beautiful. I don’t mean an obsession. I never had that. Even as a teenager, I could only have that in real life. A real crush. Permanently thinking about someone. Celebrities were never “real” for me in that sense. And hey, as you will see, there are a lot that have fascinated me, more or less (whereas in real life, it hasn’t been very many). But always just when I was seeing them (or, with singers, also listening to them). So, that’s my definition of celebrity crush.
P.S. An interesting thing. In real life, superficially, it’s faces for me. Eyes. And faces. Although I don’t believe that eyes is a superficial thing, actually.

But well, that’s it from me. Yes, I am quite fascinated with female beauty. Mostly, it’s the eyes, definitely. The eyes and the face. But there’s another aspect, I can also find someone physically attractive. In that respect, among other, I have a thing for plus-size women. And when thinking about it: How many famous actresses would classify as plus size? I cannot think of any right now. I am sure I would have had a crush on a plus-size actress. But there do not seem to be any. At least not a lot, for sure. Which is a bit unfair, I have to say. A bit discriminating. TV and films should show more plus size women.

Right, and a few years ago, I watched the Martha & The Muffins’ video “Echo Beach” and was really fascinated by the blonde keyboard player, Martha Ladly.
Polly is just great. You can only admire her as a person and as an artist. She always stays relevant.
The first one, as a teenager, was Sophie Marceau. Perhaps my biggest celebrity crush. Seing the two “La Boum” films when I was 13. She was 13 in the first film as well.
And after that, here some more women I found and find super attractive.

And, about a year ago, I saw an old Woody Allen film and saw Shelley Duvall for the first time. And I was amazed. How crazy beautiful that woman was. Her big eyes, the eyelid space (interesting thing to notice as attractive), her paleness (yes, one can like paleness!). Her vulnerable expression and in the next moment that glow, that spark.
And: I have always hated watching football and having female friends comment on which players they find attractive. But … I have to admit that when watching sports, me too, I secretly do pay attention to whom I find pretty … Perhaps that is normal. Anyway, it’s just a little “crush” during the game.
